Please read the following Terms & Conditions before booking your hire with us.
50% of the total invoice amount is payable as an administration charge. The Booking fee is to secure the stage for the date required so the stage is allocated to you and to cover our administration costs. The remainder of the payment is due no later than 14 days before the event date. Stage Events reserves the right to cancel the hire contract if payment has not been paid in full 14 days before the event date. The booking administration fee is non refundable. If the stage hire is booked 14 days before the event date, payment must be received in full before we deliver the stage to site.
- STAGE HIRE AGREEMENT
By the hirer booking a stage they agree to the following terms and conditions: - The hirer agrees to pay all money owing to Stage Events Hire LTD within a specified time agreed by stage events hire LTD.
- The hirer takes full responsibility of the stage at all times whilst on hire and is liable for any injury to persons whilst on hire.
- It is the responsibility of the hirer to insure the stage against loss or damage whilst on hire for the sum of £60,000.00. Any breakages/damages or total loss of the stage must be paid for by the hirer in full.
- The stage must be secured and not accessible if left on site overnight or when not being used by way of security fencing, locked gates and/or security staff. The stage must never be left unattended if the site is accessible to the public.
- No naked flames or fire generating machines are allowed to be used on or near the stage at any time.
- The hirer must ensure the stage roof is not overloaded with excessive weight such as lighting or video screens. The total permitted loading weight of the roof structure is as follows. The centre main pole span 450kg – the outer back and front pole span 250kg – the second inner pole span from the front and back 100kg.
- Lighting G-Clamps are not permitted to be used to hang lighting from the stage truss or roof bars. G-clamps can damage the aluminium truss and bars. Only half coupler clamps are permitted.
- Video walls/screens must not exceed 250kg if they are to be hung on the back of the stage. They must be ground supported only.
- Chain blocks/hoists are not permitted to be used on the stage at any time.
- Speakers must not exceed 200kg if stacked on the front edge of the stage.
- Safety railings must not be removed for any reason at any time.
- It is the responsibility of the hirer to show any persons using the stage the front edge and the entry and exit points. The stage steps are fitted with handrails on both sides; these must not be removed at any time.
- The stage is fitted with a Bluetooth anemometer to show wind speed on a phone or tablet. The wind speed should be monitored at all times the stage is being used on site. If the wind speed exceeds 38mph the event must be halted and the stage cleared. The hirer or designated safety officer must download the [windy anemometer] app available from the app store and connect to the device using Bluetooth.
- A suitable fire extinguisher must be provided by the hirer and placed on the stage in the event of a fire.
- Generators are not permitted within 4 meters of the stage perimeter.
- Only blow through banners are permitted to be attached to the stage. PVC banners are not allowed to be hung from the stage back wall or sides if they exceed 1m in depth as this will lower the wind rating of the stage.
- Smoking is not permitted on the stage at any time.
- Drinking with open containers is not permitted on the stage at any time. Food is also not permitted on stage unless it is for cooking or demonstration purposes.
- No chewing gum is allowed on the stage at any time.
- The hirer agrees to pay a cleaning charge for £50 if excessive electrical tape is left on the roof bars, side truss
- Any spillages must be cleaned with warm water only by the hirer. If the stage is left in a dirty condition due to alcohol spillages, debris or chewing gum, the hirer agrees to pay a cleaning charge of £100.00.
- The hirer must make sure the site is accessible for the stage and the towing vehicle. The stage width as a trailer is 2.6m. The stage height as a trailer is 3.6m.
- The total length of the trailer stage with towing hitch is 8.7m. The towing vehicle is 5.3m long. The total combined length of the trailer stage and towing vehicle is 14 meters.
- The hirer is to make sure the ground is firm and free from sharp objects that may damage the trailer stage tyres or the towing vehicle.
- The combined weight of the stage and towing vehicle is 5000kg and the ground must be suitable to take the weight of the stage and towing vehicle.
- The side wings are only suitable for blow through advertising banners 2.3 meters wide and 2.5 meters deep. PVC banners and not permitted to be hung from the side wings at any time. Speakers or lighting equipment must not be hung from the wings at any time.
- Earth spikes for grounding the stage are available free from stage events if requested by the hirer prior to the stage being delivered to site. The site electrician may opt to have an earth spike fitted. If a generator is being used, the generator and the stage must be grounded via an earth spike at the same potentiality.
- The stage floor has a combined weight limit of 1000kg over the total floor span and must not exceed the weight limit at any time.
- The hirer will ensure that all electrical equipment being used on the stage has been PAT tested and safe to use to prevent electrical shocks.
